The Ansmann KFZ Power Check has 4 main functions:

1. Test Vehicle alternator for under or overcharge both of which can cause permanent battery damage and premature failure.

2. Test the batteries charge state and indicate a 0-25%, 25-75% or 75-100% charge

3. The battery power test will indicate the condition of the battery under load helping you determine if the battery is faulty and in need of replacement.

4. The Ansmann KFZ Power Check can also be used to monitor the charge process when using external chargers helping you to turn the external charger off before the battery is damaged through being overcharged.
