ULTRA fast battery charger for AAA and AA size NiMH batteries. It has a switchable charge rate allowing you to choose between ULTRA Fast and Fast charge rates.
The Ansmann Digispeed 4 ULTRA Plus can be used throughout the world with it's
Wordwide power supply and comes with a UK and Euro power lead. It provides individual battery monitoring and charging using the Ansmann 4 Way Overcharge Protection system and has LED charge indicators for each battery position.
The Ansmann Digispeed 4 ULTRA Plus also comes complete with
4 x 2850mAh AA batteries which are among the highest capacity AA batteries available. Add to this the 3 year warranty and the Ansmann Digispeed 4 ULTRA Plus becomes a great choice for anyone needing a top quality ULTRA FAST charger for AA and AAA size batteries.

The Ansmann DigiSpeed 4 ULTRA Plus is an updated version of the Ansmann Digispeed 4 ULTRA and is one of the fastest chargers you can buy. It can FULLY charge the supplies 2850mAh AA batteries in a remarkable 46 minutes, which is just about as fast as you can charge AA batteries without significantly affecting their long term performance.
This latest "Plus" version now includes a switch to select between ULTRA Fast and Fast charging, allowing you to halve the charge current and so maximise your long term battery life.
Ansmann also do one of the best jobs in the business of managing this ultra fast charge system, by incorporating their 4 Way Battery Protection System which uses individual -dV (Voltage) dT(Temperature Chage), Max Tmperature and backup safety timer, ensuring you get the best from the batteries.
In common with the slower Digispeed 4, the Ansmann DigiSpeed 4 Ultra Plus also has a Cooling Fan to further protect the batteries from over-heating.
The only thing we would have liked is a slightly small er power supply and the ability to use the Ansmann DigiSpeed 4 ULTRA Plus in the car, but there is always the original DigiSpeed 4 if you need this facility.

Really good charger and batteries Initially, I thought I was going tombe disappointed, as the delivery seemed to take ages. Best charger on the market This has to be the best charger available even at the price charged. I have been able to charge 24AA batteries for my 2 Metz 45s to full charge in less than 3 hours, what else needs saying.\n Roger Stephens
Excellent Product Not only is this charger super fast, the battery life between charges is brilliant. I was able to take approximately 10 pictures with my digital camera using the supplied rechargeables but I get about 50-60 with these (using the LCD screen!). Well worth the cost. Would definately recommend.\n Liz Hart
Very fast charger The last time I used a battery charger (in the late eighties!) it took 12 hours to charge batteries that would then run out of juice in a mtter of hours. How things have progressed! This is very fast and compact. Great stuff.\n
Photographer's lifesaver I don't ever have to worry about my flash being left powerless ever again with this thing. Even with minimum notice or even mid-shoot, I can recharge my batteries in little more than 30-40 mins. If all you want is AA/AAA batteries charged ASAP time after time, go for this charger.
