The Ansmann Energy 8 PLUS is a professional quality desk top battery charger capable of charging 6 x AAA batteries, 6 x AA batteries, 4 x C batteries, 4 x D size batteries and 2 PP3 batteries in various combinations.
High-Tec charger with automatic refresh/discharge function for up to 8 cells
Desktop charger for 1-6 AAA or AA cells, 1-4 C or D cells in addition to 1-2 PP3 (E-block)
Auto-diagnosis of the inserted cells with automatic start of a refreshing process, if required followed by the PRE-CHARGE stage
Damaged cells will be detected and discharged before fast charging.

Individual supervision of every cell position, including the PP3 (E-Block)

Great charger. Buy one, you won't be disappointed! A reasonably expensive product but well worth the money with excellent and informative instruction book. Simple to use with good charging status display. It even recharges 9v batteries! I'll now have years of almost free batteries!
Much better than "non intelligent" chargers Much better than the the basic "non intelligent" chargers I have used before. Fast reliable and easy to use. I chose it because I needed to charge 6 AAs in one go, but it is almost universal. As always "Ansmann" = reliable, while cheaper kit has failed me.

Peace of mind and excellent cost-saving I've been using rechargeables for some time, but not for many items. My main worry has always been that I don't know the state of the batteries. With this charger I always do, and the batteries are always in their best condition. I've now been able to replace all normal batteries with rechargeables.

Excellent Charger - Brilliant Service. I cannot fault this charger, it does the job quickly and efficiently. The instructions are easy to understand and I had it up and running immediately.
