Our Opinion Of The External Sony PSP Battery Pack from Ansmann

This external battery pack is manufactured by Ansmann who have a reputation of producing top quality batteries and chargers and this unit will not dissapoint.

This External PSP battery pack is finished in a very nice shiny black and has a small metal loop on the top to allow a carry strap (not included) to be attached. It also has a handy status button allow you to check that there is enough capacity left to power the PSP.

The battery pack can be charged either by using the standard PSP power supply, or through the included USB lead. Connection to the PSP is made through a separate retractable lead, which is nice and small, so it's easy to carry with you.

One of the other features we found to be very useful, is that the output connector is a standard USB socket that provides 5V at up to 1000mA, we were able to use this to charge up the internal battery of one of our MP3 players! - great for holidays though Ansmann don't list this as one of the applications for the power pack.
