A great field charger for charging NiCd or NiMH battery packs from an 11.5 - 15V power supply (Car Battery is ideal)

With a fast charge current of 5000mA, it can charge a 3000mAh pack in less than 40 minutes. The -delta V (-dV) charge control switches to a 350mA charge current once the battery is full.
